CULTIVATING PRESENCE: TRAINING RETREAT IN COMPASSIONATE END-OF LIFE CARE

Course Dates

The course will begin on Friday, July 18, 2008 at 5:00pm and complete on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 12:00noon. All participants are asked to attend the full retreat. Please arrive on the day of the retreat between 3:00pm and 5:00pm. Partial attendance is not allowed.

Tuition

Residential Participants:
The full cost for the training is $1250. Cost includes tuition, double occupancy accommodation and meals. An additional $100 is charged for single room occupancy when available.

Commuter Participants:
Some commuters will be accommodated once all 55 residential places are filled. Cost for commuters is $900 and includes tuition, facility day use costs and meals.

We encourage you to attend with colleagues to support implementation of the course material after the training. A tuition discount of $50 per participant is offered when three or more individuals attend from the same institution or organization

An application to attend the training is required and must include a $200 deposit. Mail the completed application with a deposit check. You may telephone our office to charge your deposit on a Visa or Mastercard (processing fee of 3% will be added for this service).

Cancellations and Refunds

If you must cancel please call the Metta Institute office at 415-331-9600 so that we can accommodate those on the wait list.

Refund Policy

• Cancellations received before June 15, 2008: All payments are refunded less a $50 processing fee.
• Cancellations received after June 15, 2008 and before July 10, 2008: All payments are refunded less a $200 deposit.
• Cancellations received after July10, 2008: No Refunds
