CULTIVATING PRESENCE RESIDENTIAL RETREAT

Lead by Frank Ostaseski, Ange Stephens and guest teachers

We are pleased to open registrations for our annual CULTIVATING PRESENCE meditation retreat. While the title and description are the same as last year be assured that each retreat is completely different. We encourage all those who have attended in the past to join us again and to bring a friend! The retreat is open to all. Prior meditation experience is not required.

This unique five-day residential training retreat is designed for professionals or caregivers interested in restoring the soul to caregiving. Days will be spent primarily in silent sitting and walking meditation to foster deep renewal and insight. Mindfulness meditation is a simple and powerful technique that begins with calming the mind and body. It allows one to see through the mind's habitual patterns and conditioning and thereby emphasize the cultivation of presence and an increased capacity for being a compassionate companion. The retreat will also include talks, group interviews, experiential exercises, and exploration of the psychological and spiritual issues related to death and dying. The program draws on methods and teachers from Metta Institute's pioneering End-of-Life Care Practitioner program.
